How does it work?
Laser Hair Removal is very effective at reducing the growth of darker hair. It works by zapping the skin with a powerful ray of light. The laser machine emits a powerful light that penetrates through the skin to damage active hair follicles and stop their ability to regrow hair.
The light only targets the hair without impacting the surrounding skin, so it’s a safe and effective procedure. We use the latest technology to treat customers of all backgrounds, no matter their skin tone.

Each session slows down hair growth by about 20%, which is why most clients need 6 to 12 treatments to achieve satisfactory results. However, hormones have a significant impact on facial hair, so fluctuations can lead to new growth. That’s why it’s common to also come in for yearly touch-up appointments.​
​​​Who is a good candidate?
You can undergo laser hair removal as long as you’re over the age of 18 (or accompanied by a parent) and not pregnant or breastfeeding. This treatment works best for those with darker hair since the laser works by pin-pointing the pigment.

While laser hair removal can be effective for anyone, those with dark hair and light skin tend to get the best results because of the contrast in colors (the laser seeks out the dark pigments of the hair). Blondes and redheads may need a slightly customized laser for maximum effectiveness. Those with darker skin or tans may experience less than optimal results.

Laser Hair Removal After Care
A bit of redness and irritation is normal after laser hair removal. To guarantee speedy, easy recovery, make sure to follow these aftercare practices.
Apply a cool compress or skin-soothing lotion after the treatment.
Avoid all unprotected sun exposure. Wear sun-protective clothing or sunscreen when outdoors in the daytime.
For 24-72 hours after your treatment, avoid jacuzzis, intense exercise, saunas, steam rooms, or hot showers.
Wait ten days after your laser hair removal treatment before shaving again, to avoid irritation.
